Privacy Policy

Not legal advice. This policy is an operator-posted notice. These notices have not been reviewed by a licensed attorney. It describes what the product does with information. It is not a certification under any privacy law, and it does not claim compliance with any statute.

A-LOT.io is operated by BIG E, an individual. You are dealing with BIG E personally, not a company. Claims about this Service are against BIG E, subject to the Terms of Service (liability cap, indemnity, Arizona law, arbitration, and the class waiver).

A-LOT is a software close desk and deal-management tool. It is not a broker, attorney, title company, escrow provider, lender, or appraiser.

What we handle

  • Account information you submit to sign in, such as an email address and a password hash handled by the authentication system, plus a session token stored in your browser (see Cookies).
  • Connected wallet public addresses, if you choose to connect a wallet. Wallet use is optional.
  • Content you submit to Deal Coach or similar features, including prompts and fields you choose to send.
  • Close-desk fields you enter: a licensed-closer reference, counsel-prompt acknowledgments, an intake title claim, and party names you add.
  • Closing-packet evidence: a reference note you type, plus a fingerprint (a hash of that note). Evidence is not a file upload. The original document stays with you and your closer. The joint-venture (JV) PDF is a real file upload: the PDF is stored for that deal and a hash of the file is recorded. A spreadsheet import of deals is a separate file upload and is not closing evidence.
  • Success Fee fields on a documented Closed own-book deal: the percent, Founding 3% (a lifetime rate while the Founding terms apply; recorded, not collected today), Pro 5%, any dollar amount calculated from the price recorded on the deal, and the fact that the fee is recorded and not collected. Collection is not active.
  • Payment-related metadata only if you complete a checkout. A membership charge is not made today. The Success Fee is not collected today.
  • Technical data such as device and browser type and IP address when you access the servers, plus error and performance data when monitoring is configured.
  • Messages you send through the contact form.

What we do not collect

Private keys, seed phrases, or wallet secrets. Do not paste secrets into the Service. A-LOT does not take land-fund custody.

How we use information

To provide the Service; to sign you in; to run features you invoke (including Deal Coach); to record a closing packet and a Success Fee on a documented Closed own-book deal; to detect abuse and protect the Service; to answer a message you send; and to comply with law when required.

Deal Coach and similar features send the content you submit so the feature can respond. The Terms of Service include a license to that content, including anonymized AI model training. This policy does not add an opt-out from that license. Read section 23 of the Terms before you submit deal information.

Close desk, not custody

A-LOT is a close desk only. County recorder records are title truth. A licensed closer handles transfer. We do not take land-fund custody, treat an NFT as a deed, cloud titles, or cut parties from a deal roster. Closed is a desk status, not recorded title. A Success Fee is recorded on a documented Closed own-book deal. Founding 3% (a lifetime rate while the Founding terms apply; recorded, not collected today). Pro is 5%. The fee is not collected. There is no monthly or yearly membership charge today. A software referral credit may be recorded when someone you invite verifies an account. Referral payouts are not live. A 2% share of A-LOT's Success Fee is defined in the product and is not enabled.

This policy is software tooling only. It is not brokerage, legal, lending, appraisal, escrow, or investment advice.

Cookies and similar storage

What the site sets and loads is described on the cookies page at /cookies. In short: the sign-in token is stored in browser local storage, not in a cookie set by our application code for ordinary sessions. An owner-panel cookie is set only after a matching owner-panel secret is supplied. Wallet connection state may be stored with the wallet library's cookie storage. Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights scripts load when the site is running on Vercel. Error monitoring loads when a Sentry address is configured. Human verification loads Cloudflare Turnstile when a site key is configured. Parcel lookup may call Regrid from the API server when a Regrid token is configured. That call is not a browser cookie. Details and unknowns are on /cookies.

Who else may process information

When a feature is configured and you use it, these parties may process information under their own terms:

  • The host that serves the site (Vercel, when deployed there), including Analytics and Speed Insights scripts that the site loads when it is running on Vercel.
  • An error-monitoring provider (Sentry) when a Sentry address is set on the server. The browser setup includes session replay with text masked and media blocked. Whether that address is set in production is a server setting, not something this policy can read.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile, on pages that show the human-verification widget, when a site key is set.
  • A payment processor, if you complete a payment. Stripe code exists in the product. A membership checkout is not offered today, and the Success Fee is not collected.
  • An email provider, when the Service sends mail (the contact and account-mail paths). The public contact page names hello@a-lot.io and security@a-lot.io.
  • Regrid (app.regrid.com), from the API server, when a server-side Regrid token is set, to look up parcel data you request. The browser does not load a Regrid script on this site.
  • A wallet extension, blockchain network, or wallet-connection service, only if you choose to connect a wallet.
  • An AI inference provider, when you use Deal Coach or a similar feature that calls one. The specific provider depends on server configuration and is not named in this policy because this site does not name one public vendor for every setup.

The content security policy also allows script hosts for Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics. This site does not include a Google Analytics or Tag Manager snippet. Whether a host outside this site injects one is unknown from these pages.

We do not operate a feature that sells personal information.

Retention

Information is kept while it is needed to run the Service, including a deal record you have not asked us to delete. This policy does not state a fixed number of days. The product code reviewed for this policy does not define one retention period for all data. Chat or log content may be kept for operations and then deleted or reduced, except where it is kept for security, a dispute, or a legal requirement. That sentence is a description of intent, not a measured retention schedule.

International transfers

If information is processed outside your country, safeguards required by law may apply. This policy does not claim that a particular transfer tool is in place.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to certain uses. This policy does not claim that any particular statute applies, and it does not set a response deadline the product does not implement.

Account and data deletion requests

There is no delete-account control in the product today. To request deletion of your account, or of personal information tied to it, email legal@a-lot.io or send the contact form at /contact (https://a-lot.io/contact). Use the email address on the account, and say that the message is a deletion request.

A request is not a completed deletion. We do not promise a time limit in this policy. Information may be kept when it is needed for security, to resolve a dispute, or where the law requires it to be kept. Deal records, a recorded Success Fee, and a stored JV PDF are part of the account data a request can name. Closing-evidence notes are text and a hash, not uploaded evidence files.

Security

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You use the Service at your own risk. You are responsible for your password and, if you connect one, for your wallet.

Children

The Service is for people 18 and older, as stated in the Terms. It is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. This is not a certification under any children's privacy law.

Changes

We may update this policy. The Last updated date will change when it does. Continued use after the update is posted means you accept the updated policy.
