Privacy Policy
Effective Date: May 4, 2026
- A-LOT.io is operated by Phillip Vencill (individual); this policy describes how information is handled in connection with the Service.
- What we may collect: connected wallet public addresses; authentication or session identifiers you receive from the Service; content you submit to the AI Deal Coach or similar features (including prompts and contextual fields you choose to send); coarse usage or performance data needed to operate and secure the app; payment-related metadata when you complete checkouts (as processed by payment providers); and technical data such as device/browser type and IP address when you access our servers.
- What we do not collect: private keys, seed phrases, or wallet secrets. Never paste secrets into the Service.
- How we use data: to provide and improve the Service; to authenticate and authorize access; to respond to features you invoke (including AI inference); to detect abuse and protect security; to comply with law when required; and to communicate about the Service where permitted.
- Lawful basis (GDPR / UK GDPR sketch): depending on context, processing may rely on performance of a contract (providing the Service you request), legitimate interests (securing the Service, improving reliability, fraud/abuse prevention, analytics that are not intrusive), and/or legal obligation. Where consent is required for a specific activity, we will seek it separately. This high-level summary is not legal advice; applicable law varies.
- Categories (GDPR-style summary): identifiers (e.g. wallet public keys, account IDs); technical data (IP, device/browser); usage and performance diagnostics; content you submit (e.g. chat prompts); payment transaction metadata (via processors).
- Retention (sketch): we retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including dispute resolution and legal compliance, unless a shorter or longer period is required by law. Chat or log content may be retained for a limited operational window and then deleted or aggregated, except where we must preserve it for legal, security, or accounting reasons.
- Third parties: wallet extensions, blockchain networks, RPC providers, analytics or AI inference providers, and payment processors may process data under their own policies when you choose to use them.
- International transfers: if data is processed outside your country, we rely on appropriate safeguards where required by law (e.g. standard contractual clauses) when applicable.
- Your rights (EEA/UK and similar jurisdictions): you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object to certain processing, data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise rights, contact legal@a-lot.io with sufficient detail for us to verify and respond.
- Security: no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You use the Service at your own risk.
- Children: the Service is not directed to children under thirteen (13), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
- Your responsibilities: you are responsible for wallet security and for any loss arising from connections, approvals, or transactions you initiate.
- Not financial advice; high risk: our Privacy Policy does not change the disclaimers in our Terms of Service. Digital assets and on-chain activity involve substantial risk.
- Changes: we may update this policy; the Effective Date will reflect updates. Continued use after posting means you accept the updated policy.
- Contact: legal@a-lot.io (and other methods published on A-LOT.io, if any).
